Democrats have had a good year and now is the time to recharge and gear up for the impending State Convention in May. The revival is designed to harness the energy of Progressives to meet pressing challenges, educate them about two pressing social problems in   Oklahoma   and   Tulsa   (health care and at-risk youth), advise them about what to expect from a legislature controlled by Republicans, call them to get involved during the   Democratic Party precinct meetings and conventions, and enlist them in the Progressive   cause of bringing publicly financed elections to Oklahoma in order to rid our politics of the corrupting and non-progressive influences of moneyed special interests.
